At 4 g/litre Rallentando is definitely dry with the customary lime palate. The acidity which might frighten those with a sweet tooth is fresh and balanced. Their assumption that all Rieslings are loaded up with sugar is misleading but can be satisfied with a bottle of our botrytised Sticky Fingers.
Our tasting panel of foodies had some extravagant suggestions for Rallentando – eye watering, cheek sucking, gob smacking, bone crashing, hair-raising, spine-tingling toe-tapping, ball- breaking, eye-popping, mind-altering, gut-wrenching, earth-shattering etc. Take your pick. It is obviously intended for food – chicken and fish are good. Can be cellared for enjoyment till 2030.

By the by – one of the reasons (apart from his hair) that makes “baby girl Trump” so cross over trivia is his lack of genuine warmth and success with Melania and that his well- known penchant for crotch grabbing doesn’t work. He’s got it all wrong. A bottle of Rallentando would do the trick.
